Down on the SEAWAY and taking a little VACATION

At the beginning of the year, I was minding my own business, when Simple Plan announced a tour in the US and EU which OBVIOUSLY yet again I couldn’t attend *sigh* and because I wanted to hurt myself a little more, I thought “it’d be fun to check out those bands that are playing before them”.
SPOILER: if you didn’t get it from there, that’s how I discovered Seaway.
And if I was internally crying because I couldn’t attend the damn shows, I was even more gutted when I first started listening to Seaway. Why ?
Cause Seaway is A FREAKING GOOD BAND.

All We Know Of Heaven, All We Need Of Hell… is PVRIS

I remember the first time I went online and found through youtube and the Rise Records channel a new band then, who had just been signed.

PVRIS.

Curious of a band whose name is the capital of my birth country, I decided to check it, and on the first notes of the song ( St Patrick I remember it is), I immediately fell in love with them.
What attracted me was not only their sound, their lyrics, but also their aesthetic which weirdly makes me see life in black and white (both their albums have black and white covers) and a world of their own, mixed between Tim Burton movies, Edgar Allen Poe poetry and nowadays music.

ALL TIME LOW – LAST YOUNG RENEGADE ALBUM REVIEW

Oh well, as if it surprises you to have a post about this album…

Ok, so I’ll say it: THIS ALBUM. IS FREAKING COOL.

Honestly. And I’m trying to say this in the most neutral way possible.

After coming back from 2 years of touring with their major number one album Future Hearts, All Time Low decided to give us some hints, and made us work for it through hints and enigmatic lyrics from their songs.

Finally, Dirty Laundry and the album were announced.

LAST. YOUNG. RENEGADE.

I previously did a post starting with the famous « THEY. ARE. PARAMOOOOOOOORE » that we all know has echoed through every show they’ve ever played. And guess what. Here it goes again !

There are bands that you know that you’re gonna like from the first string that’s played on the first song you hear. It’s been like that with Manolo Panic !

One day, you check your mails, and you see that someone hints you toward listening to a band. And when you do, you think to yourself  « How is this gonna be ? ». Thankfully, I’m open to any new music, I love music so much. And I was glad I did open myself to new music and open my mails to find them out.

Manolo Panic is one of those bands that, when you listen to them, you just feel cool. And they slowly become a new obsession !

All Time Low Young Renegades Tour Review (London/Cardiff)

When All Time Low announced last year that they would tour the UK in March 2017, the whole fanbase knew that it was something not to miss.

Mostly cause we all knew the cycle for Future Hearts had ended, so it could only mean one thing: NEW. MUSIC. FOR ALL TIME LOW.
