Hey everyone !

On this first edition of Music Of The Week, I’m gonna put not one, not two, guess again not three, but FOUR music videos from bands that I love and that came out recently !
I love them so much, they’re actually part of my summer playlist ! Scroll through the whole article to find your happiness in whichever style you like !
So here goes !

When Echosmith outed their first album in 2013, I was conquered. I loved the light touch of acoustics, the lyrics, the themes they talked about, and was thrilled for them to get a chance to play on stages such as the Vans Warped Tour, and along acts such as You Me At Six, Twenty One Pilot and Lindsey Stirling (with whom they’ve collaborated for a very emotional cover of their song Bright). I’ve been following them closely ever since and glad I stuck with waiting for their new song ! After 4 years since their last LP, and 2 years without a new single out, they granted us the gift of their new pop-influenced new single called Goodbye. Their new album Inside A Dream will be out on September 29th through Warner Bros ! In the meantime, go check out the music video below.

Great Good Fine OK/Before You Exit – Find Yourself

Here are two great bands that collaborated and came together, not as a supergroup, but as a super collab on a song to give us Find Yourself.
To give you a little hint toward what the song sounds like, Great Good Fine Ok is a electro-pop duo who worked and sang with The Chainsmokers and X Ambassadors.
Before You Exit are a trio of brothers who went on many tours, including 2 with All Time Low, 2 with Christina Grimmie (RIP) and many headlines of their own. AND (as if it wasn’t good enough) they penned songs with the likes of Alex Gaskarth of All Time Low and Patrick Stump from Fall Out Boy.
Does that impress you ? Well, honestly, no more needed to be said as I was conquered enough with that ! To be recognized by your peers is impressive enough, but to have written a song with them is an achievement in itself.
Both bands featured on Find Yourself are set to be looked out for, as they are DEFINITELY two bands that will be the rhythm of your summer and heartbreaks.
Check the single below !

The Gospel Youth – Tired Eyes And Heavy Hearts

I barely discovered this band today, and I apologize to them in advance for that, but where was I all this time ? Honestly !
For someone who pays such an attention to bands and labels and tours, I wonder why I’ve never paid closer attention to them *sighs*
In my defense, they outed their first full LP yesterday (July 14th) via Rise Records and are playing all summer long on the Vans Warped Tour.
Album came out yesterday, and I’ve already listened to the album and bought it and listened to it again and again all day long !
The album is just the kind of pop-punk, punk-rock that I love and all the lyrics are relatable and hit close to home.
CONGRATS BOYS ! Your album is amazing ! And looking forward to seeing you headline !

Seaway – Apartment

So, I’ve heard about this band cause I paid close attention (and cried) to the tour announcement of one of my favorite bands in the world and the celebration of their 15th anniversary of their debut record. But it’s not about them.
It’s about the band that opened for them.
I love looking at line-ups and check bands out. And boy, I did right to do so !
SEAWAY they’re called (and you’ll fall in love with them as much as I did I promise)
When they got announced, I immediately checked them out and not only was I surprised to know that they were signed to Pure Noise Records (State Champs, TERROR, Story So Far, Jule Vera, Stick To Your Guns, Four Year Strong), moreover, I was glad to have done so and like them that much !
My Spotify might’ve even gotten sick of me listening to them haha ! So, I did what anyone would’ve done: I bought their album on iTunes ! (And also cause I love to show support to bands that I like).
It’s been since February and their songs still find their way in my playlists !
And now, they’re back with a new single called Apartment and a new album out on September 15th via Pure Noise Records !
